Graphic Designer, Zach Huber, has been with Mirror Matter since the beginning. What started as an internship has turned into something much more valuable to everyone involved. Zach’s eye for design and polished aesthetic allows for quick yet comprehensive workmanship that gives our team the ability to push creative boundaries.

Zach Huber or Hubey.

What is your role and what are you responsible for doing?

Graphic Designer.

How do you describe what you do to friends and family?

I’m a Graphic Designer at an ad agency.

What’s been your favorite project to work on?

The Aviate Audio Airpatch.

What do you listen to when you’re working?

Rap and heavy metal are my go-tos. Specifically, Griselda and Tory Lanez for rap, Bring Me The Horizon and Fit For a King for metal.

What was your first job? Did you like it?

This is my first real job, and I love it.

How would you describe yourself?

I’m a quiet person who likes to keep to myself, but once you get me going, I can lift the room up with laughter and energy. I tend to make a lot of jokes but can, and will, get serious when I need to.

How would you describe Mirror Matter?

A small, nimble agency in the heart of Buffalo, determined to allow each client to succeed in every aspect—from creative to social strategy.

Apple because of how smooth everything in their family of products works together.

How did you get linked with Mirror Matter?

They found my Behance portfolio a couple years ago and contacted me from there.

What part of “agency life” do you like the most?

How fast paced it is and you’er always working on something new each day.

Ideal retirement plan?

I’d like to buy an RV, live in that and travel the country. I probably wouldn’t want to wait to retire to do that because I’d like to enjoy that experience before I get old. I would still do graphic design while I’m traveling.

Coffee, tea, or other?

My drink of choice is a smoothie, when available.

What book, show, or podcast would you recommend to the world? Why?

The Joe Budden Podcast because they talk about the things I enjoy the most usually, which is what is going on in today’s culture and music.

Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall? Why?

Fall because it’s my favorite time of the year. Weather, football, Halloween, my birthday, horror movies, etc.

What are you looking forward to most about the next year?

Graduating college!
